About Michael Shannon
My lifelong enthusiasm for photography has been a constant source of joy and creativity. Photography allows me to be both technical and artistic. It helps me showcase how I see the world, and how I want to see the world.
I love being outdoors, especially in wilderness areas and I am a keen hiker and hill walker. Much of my inspiration for photography comes from the natural world. A lot of my work features the areas close to where I live - the Yorkshire Coast, Yorkshire Wolds, Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
I undertake commissions and also supply editorial & advertising imagery.
